The Association of Citizen Contractors Tanzania (ACCT) is planning to launch a magazine called “THE CITIZEN CONTRACTORS” , therefore welcomes all construction stakeholders to support the move of local contractors by sponsoring and advertising with this magazine.

The government has reiterated its commitment to reserve multi-billion shilling construction projects funded by the country’s taxpayers, for qualified local contractors.
This was said here over the weekend by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Works, Communications and Transport in charge of Works sector, Engineer Joseph Nyamhanga, when officiating at the opening ceremony of a two- day Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Association of Citizen Contractors Tanzania (ACCT).

ACCT is planning to establish WAJENZI BANK with aim to cover failure of other financial Institution to meet on timely basis the financial needs of local contractors.
After realising the hardness that our members and other contractors face on obtaining the best technicians and artisans who fit the need of the market, ACCT thought is convenient to establish a Vocation Training Centre for construction activities with aim to brush artisan and technician from construction companies.

ACCT 5th Annual General Meeting is the event planned to be on 28th and 29th April 2016 at St. Gasper Hotel in Dodoma. Theme of the Meeting is 5 years of ACCT - Achievements and Challenges.
